“I hear NYU girls are not at all particular.” —

Dan Humphrey, GG. SO TRUE, DAN HUMPHREY, SO TRUE. If GG is anything like real life, Dan will become overwhelmed by the fact that he is now at a school where every single girl wants to bone him, and where there is absolutely no competition, and will, subsequently, become an even bigger asshole than he already is. Oh, and will never want to be in a relationship again now that he can just “hang out.” (via arikagold)

is this a direct reference/quote from clueless? i believe cher said this to josh.

Hungry Owl - Go Home

Last Sunday afternoon, Olivine decided to write and record her first EP. The result is a six-song, five-minute gem. It’s by turns both ethereal and grounded, a sort of song cycle that begins at “Sunrise” and drifts off into a sleepy dream world in “Follow and Jump.” I love “Drinker’s Dilemma,” which captures perfectly the feeling of a lopsided morning after, and this track, “Go Home,” which takes a simple lyric and makes it both beautiful and catchy as hell. You can hear Olivine’s influences (Smog, with a healthy dose of folk and low-fi), but she doesn’t show them off. This is simple, intimate, not precious—a solid start to what I hope becomes something great. You can (and should) preview or download the Travelling Man EP.

If only we could all be so productive. Nice work, dear.

SERIOUSLY WORTH A THOUSAND WORMS.
